As I sit and make this post this evening the temperature outside is -20 and yes that is a minus and Fahrenheit. BRRR.. that is about all I can say, that and thank God for our wood stove.
(and wool socks)
I took the above photograph a few days ago after a night when the temperatures went below zero,(would seem like a heat wave now) the next day when the sun came out to warm the world; I was amazed at the beauty of the melting ice cycles as they seemed to come alive in the sunshine.
Well those very same ice cycles were NOT beautiful today, no hope of them or anything else melting for a while here in the frozen North West Wyoming.
Stay warm everyone, I think Winter has finally arrived.
~Heads or Tails~
Here is another photograph of "the bird with no name"... If you missed out on the contest, see yesterdays post below. I am offering a FREE photograph for help in naming this beautiful Red tailed Hawk
(whom is happily sleeping on her perch in my living room as I type this...
does anyone know how to get hawk poop out of a rug??
Just kidding, I covered the floor,
but I sure do hope it warms up soon.. lol)
